6. With the mast still in the 90° position and the desired
mast at 3 inches outside of the frame, unclamp the
straight edge and mark the mast position on the truck
frame. See Figure 6-17.
7. Move the mast all the way to the right. The full travel
length (right to left) should be set at 20”. See
Figure 6-17. This rear side shift cylinder is adjusted
to achieve this travel by adjusting the length of the
chain. See Figure 6-18.

8. When finished, apply removable thread locker to the
adjustment nuts of both the front and the rear
cylinder chain adjusters and to the cylinder clevis
lock bolts. See Figures 6-18 and 6-19.
