ASSEMBLY
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Scraper Kit - Optional
IMPORTANT
Cannot be used with the Coil Tine Track Remover Kit.
NOTE
If Seeder has been used, check Front Roller Assembly
Wheels that they are tight to one another before installing
Scraper Kit.
See “Roller Adjustment Procedure” on
Page 5-5 .
1. Assemble Brackets to the front of Seeder Frame
Tube with 1/2-13 U-Bolts, Lock Washers and Nuts
except for the 12FT Drawbar Seeder where you
mount the Bracket to the Brace Plate with the Brace
Hardware.
Do not tighten at this time. See
Figure 2-36.
NOTE
If you have a S-Tine Tire Track Remover Kit on your 8FT
or 10FT Seeder, you do not mount the outer Brackets to
the Seeder Frame Tube. Attach the outer RH and LH
Angle Brackets to the Track Remover S-Tine Brackets.
You may need to reposition the S-Tine Brackets for
proper placement of the Scraper Angle.
See Figure 2-36.
2. Attach the LH and RH Angle Brackets to the
Brackets with 1/2-13 x 3-1/4 x 4-9/16 U-Bolts, Lock
Washers and Nuts.
Do not tighten at this time.
3. Attach the Scraper Angle to the LH and RH Angle
Brackets with 1/2-13 x 1-1/4 Bolts, Flat Washers,
Lock Washers and Nuts.
Do not tighten at this time.
4. 8FT and 10FT Seeders , attach a center Scraper to
the Scraper Angle Center Slot and attach the
Scrapers to the Scraper Angle with 3/8-16 x 1-1/4
Carriage Bolts, Flat Washers, Lock Washers, and
Nuts.
5. 12FT Seeder , attach two Center Scrapers to the
Scraper Angle Center Slots and attach the Scrapers
to the Scraper Angle with 3/8-16 x 1-1/4 Carriage
Bolts, Flat Washers, Lock Washers, and Nuts.
6. Center entire Scraper Assembly on the Seeder,
position Scrapers for proper fit to the Front Roller and
tighten hardware. Scrapers should be close enough
to the Roller Wheels to be functional but without
interference. Some final adjustments maybe required
in the field.
