CAUTION

CAUTION

IMPORTANT

Unfold, lower the unit to the ground, and relieve
hydraulic pressure before attempting to service any
hydraulic component.

1.

Remove all Tooth Control Hydraulic Hoses from the
24 port manifold, except the two 3/8 x 234” hoses
that go to the tractor. They will be used for Spike
Drag Hydraulic Lift.

2.

Remove the four 4 x 8 Hydraulic Cylinders. One from
each wing and two from the center frame.

3.

For proper fit of 4-1/2 x 8 cylinders, remove up 1/2”
material from Frame Plate and Frame Support Plate.

See Figure 1-2.

Installation

To ensure alignment of assemblies, leave the nuts
loose until completion of final assembly. Use lock
washers or flat washers as specified. Spread all cotter
pins.
After completion of final assembly, tighten all nuts
evenly to prevent misalignment, distortion or binding.
Tighten all screws and nuts to the recommended torques

Refer to operator manual F-752 for general and hydraulic
fittings torque specifications.

1.

Install the two new 4 x 8 Rephase Hydraulic
Cylinders on the wings in the same location as the
old.

2.

Install the two new 4-1/2 x 8 Rephase Hydraulic
Cylinders on the center frame in the same location as
the old. Center Left Cylinder requires new 1 x 9”, 3
hole pin.

3.

With a 1” flat washer on each side of the tooth control
bracket slide 1x 9” pin through with the long hole
spacing first. Secure with 5/16 x 2 roll pin on each
side of the 1” flat washer.

See Figure 1-1.

4.

Place Depth Control Bracket ahead of the pin on the
Front Roller Frame Asm. Secure with 3/4-10 U-Bolt
and locknut. Install valve and mounting brackets.

5.

Assemble the Depth Stop Tube Asm to the 3 hole
pin, spacers, washers. Secure with roll pin. Ensure
the Depth Stop Tube Asm is parallel to the Tooth
Control Tube.

See Figure 1-3.

6.

Install new hydraulic fittings as shown in

Figure 1-4.

7.

Connect and route the Hydraulic hoses along the
front frame tube.

See Figures 1-5 an1-6

Run the

hydraulic hoses with the drag lift hoses. Secure with
tie straps. Use hose wrap were designated.

Bleed Air From Hydraulic System

Rephase bleeds in retract. Bleed air by continually
flowing oil after cylinders are retracted.

Refer to operator manual F-752 for proper procedure. As
instructed, always bleed the system whenever hydraulic
circuit is opened for any reason.

Do not work on or under this machine unless
securely

blocked and supported by a hoist or

tractor or by other sufficient means.

Strap each tooth section to frame to prevent
unexpected movement when removing cylinders.
