MAINTENANCE, SERVICING & CALIBRATION
SOLOnet
thermometers do not have any user serviceable parts and therefore
they require only minimal maintenance to ensure trouble-free operation.
The following information should be used in conjunction with that found in the
SOLOnet
Mountings and Accessories Installation Guide (PP310).
9.1
Maintenance
Although
SOLOnet
thermometers require no regular maintenance programme,
it is essential that they are kept clean and free from contaminants at all times.
Particular attention to lens cleanliness is a must, to ensure accurate thermometer
operation.
Where environmental accessories are utilised, the services provided to them
must comply with the recommendations detailed in Land publication PP310.
To promote good working practice, it is also recommended that thermometer
cleanliness and services integrity checks should be added to any local plant
maintenance schedule.
9.2
Servicing
SOLOnet
thermometers do not incorporate user serviceable parts, therefore in
the unlikely event of an instrument malfunction, or an instrument requiring
servicing or calibration, contact Land Instruments International for information
regarding the ‘return to manufacturer’ policy.
9.3
Calibration
SOLOnet
thermometers are inherently stable with time. However, in line with
any local quality assurance procedures, it is highly recommended that they are
calibration checked every 12 months. This ensures that the instrument operates
with accuracy and reliability.
