5. Rotate hitch straps (#6 & #7), floating top hitch (#11),
and rear braces (#13) up until holes in rear braces
align with hole in floating top hitch (#11).
6. Insert 3/4"-10 x 4 1/2" GR5 bolt (#5) into the left rear
brace (#13), floating top hitch (#11), and right rear
brace (#13).
7.
Secure bolt (#5) with hex locknut (#12). Draw locknut
up snug and then back off 1/4 turn.
8. Attach driveline hook (#17) to hitch strap (#6) using
5/16"-18 x 1 1/4" bolt (#16) and locknut (#18). Tighten
locknut to the correct torque.
IMPORTANT:
See Detail A in Figure 1-2. Floating
top hitch (#11) must be installed with ears "A" above
rear braces (#13).
NOTE:
After assembly of hitch, push on top of
A-frame assembly (#6 & #7). It should rotate
backwards and floating top link (#11) should rotate
upwards. If they are too stiff to rotate, loosen
nuts (#12) until floating top link (#11) rotates freely.

3-Point Hitch Assembly
1.
Assemble left-hand and right-hand hitch straps
(#6 & #7) to the inside hitch plates as shown with
5/8"-11 X 2" bolts (#1), bushings (#2), flat washers
(#3), and hex flange locknuts (#4). Tighten locknuts
to the correct torque.
2. Attach end without ears "A" of floating top
hitch (#11) between shields (#15 & #16) and hitch
straps (#6 & #7) with 3/4"-10 x 4 1/2" GR5 bolt (#8)
and locknut (#12). Draw locknut up snug and then
back off 1/4 turn.
3. Insert clevis pin (#9) through top holes in hitch straps
(#6 & #7). Secure with hairpin cotter (#10).
4. Locate 21/32" holes on end of rear braces (#13) and
attach that end to rear strap lugs with 5/8"-11 x 1 3/4"
GR5 bolts (#14) and hex flange locknuts (#15). Draw
locknuts (#15) up snug and then back off 1/4 turn.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to mount left-hand hitch
brace (#6) and right-hand hitch brace (#7) with
stiffeners on the underside facing forward.
