Unhook Powered Ditcher
Refer to Figure 4-4:
Un-hook Powered Ditcher from tractor as follows:
1.
on page 19 when parking
ditcher for long periods and at the end of the season.
2.
Park ditcher on a level solid hard surface, disengage
PTO, place gear selector in park, and set park brake.
3.
Lower parking stands (#1) to parking height
(holes “A”, “B”, or “C”) and secure stands with wire
snap lock pins (#3). Make certain wire snaps are
caught over end of pins.
4.
Slowly lower ditcher until skid shoe and parking
stands are resting fully on the ground or onto support
blocks with ripper tooth and impeller supported just
above ground level.
5.
Shut tractor engine off and remove switch key before
dismounting from tractor.
Refer to Figure 4-5:
6.
Pull back on driveline yoke collar and hold while
pulling driveline yoke from tractor PTO shaft.
7.
Store yoke end of driveline off the ground to keep
universal joint and pull collar out of the dirt.
8.
Remove customer supplied hairpin cotter and hitch
pin connecting center 3-point link to the ditcher.
Rotate center 3-point link up into its storage position.
Store hitch pin and hairpin cotter with tractor.
9.
Remove lower 3-point linchpins and hitch pins from
lower 3-point clevises.
10. Lower 3-point arms below clevises and reinstall
lower hitch pins, bushings, and linchpins in lower
3-point clevises.
11. Slowly and carefully drive tractor away from ditcher
while making sure lower 3-point arms do not catch
and pull on the Powered Ditcher.
