1. Mount the unit in the position most desirable to

housing to a suitable electrical ground such as a properly

The motor should be re-lubricated every 6 months
with 10 or 20 drops of SAE 10W or 20W non-deter-
gent oil (ML-type) or with electric motor oil.

assembly and assembly procedures.
limiteD warranty
Dayton blowers, Models 4C004A, 4C005, 4C008B, 4C012A, 4C013A, 4C264A, 4C446, 4C447,
4C448A, and 4C565A, are warranted by Dayton Electric Mfg. Co. (Dayton) to the original user against
defects in workmanship or materials under normal use (rental use excluded), or one year after date
of purchase. Any part which is determined to be defective in material or workmanship and returned
to an authorized service location, as Dayton designates, shipping costs prepaid, will be repaired or
replaced at Dayton’s option. For warranty claim procedures, see “Prompt Disposition” below. This
warranty give purchaser’s specific legal rights and purchasers may also have other rights which vary
from state to state.

with respect to any product which proves to be defective within warranty. For any product believed to
be defective within warranty, first write or call dealer from whom product was purchased. Dealer will
give additional directions. If unable to resolve satisfactorily, write to Dayton at address below, giving
dealer’s name, address, date and number of dealer’s invoice, and describing the nature of the defect.
If product was damaged in transit to you, file claim with carrier.
