BASIC OPERATION

ENGINE START-UP — by kick start lever

Turn ignition switch to “ON”.
Turn the emergency stop switch to the “RUN” position.
Put scooter on center stand.
Kick downward on the kick start lever with adequate force.

Notes:

Do not open (twist) throttle while starting.

Caution:

After the engine is started, make sure the kick start lever regains its original up position to

avoid damage.
