Starting the engine
On starting the vehicle, the driving mode selected is always AUTOMATIC STRADA mode by default with the START & STOP system
active
Starting the engine in the event of a fault
If the key with remote control has a flat battery, there is radio interference or system
faults, it is possible that the engine will not start when you press the START ENGINE
STOP button.
Starting
•
Hold the key with remote control in the marked position
•
Press the brake pedal all the way down
•
Press the START ENGINE STOP button
Always engage PARKING mode and set the electromechanical parking brake before leaving the vehicle to prevent it from moving.
START ENGINE STOP button
The START ENGINE STOP button allows you to turn the instrument cluster and the engine on and off:
Starting
•
Take the remote control key into the vehicle
•
Press the brake pedal all the way down
•
If you press the START ENGINE STOP button without pressing the brake pedal, the instrument
cluster switches on and off
•
Press the START ENGINE STOP button
Shutting off
•
Engage neutral (N) or parking mode (P)
•
Press the START ENGINE STOP button
