The Decade is designed to take advantage of a strategically wide
pickup placement. A true neck position pickup provides earth
moving low end and warmth. The super punchy bridge pickup
delivers effortless “Jaco style” tone. You need to hear this bass to
believe it! Because of it’s extra wide tonal range, many seasoned
ears have mistaken the passive Decade for an active instrument.
The body shape is a Lakland original yet looks like a timeless
classic. The pickguard, affectionately referred to as “The Molar”,
really adds to the Decade’s style. Our spoke wheel truss rod
adjustment offers the Decade the deepest neck pickup location on
the market.
