CHOPPING
Meat, cheese, onion, fresh herbs, garlic and nuts can all be successfully chopped using the
chopping bowl and blade. However, hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, nutmeg
and spices will damage the blade and should be avoided.
1. Carefully remove the safety cover from the chopping blade. Holding the blade by its
plastic spindle, lower it onto the pin in the chopping bowl.
2. Cut your ingredients into small pieces (up to 1” (2.5cm)) and add to the chopping bowl.

.
3. Place the cover on the chopping bowl. Fit the power handle into the cover, turning until
it locks into place.
4. Plug into the mains socket. Take a firm hold of the chopping bowl and switch on – press
the top button for low speed and the bottom button for high speed. Release the button
at any time to change speed or stop chopping.
5. When you have finished chopping, unplug and remove the power handle from the
bowl cover.
6. Be sure the blade has completely stopped before removing the cover. Carefully lift out the
blade, then empty the bowl.
