• The kettle must have at least 2 cups of water in it before it is switched on.
• Do not fill beyond the MAX level, or the kettle may spit boiling water.
• Remove the kettle from the stand to fill or pour water.
• Pour slowly and do not over-tilt the kettle.
• SAFETY CUT-OUT; The heating element in your kettle is protected against damage by a safety
cut-out device which will automatically switch the kettle off if it is accidentally switched on and
allowed to boil without any water. If this occurs, disconnect the kettle from the mains supply
and allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water. The kettle may then be operated
normally. If the kettle is lifted from the base while operating, it will automatically switch off.
• WARNING; A cut off plug inserted into a 13amp socket is a serious safety (shock) hazard.
Ensure the cut off plug is disposed of safely.
•
CAUTION; The plastic bags used to wrap this appliance or the packaging may be

These bags are not toys.
OTHER FEATURES

brush with a washing up brush. In some areas, water appears cloudy. This is caused by calcium in
the water, which becomes transparent when boiled. This is normal.
