INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• When using the appliance for the first time you may notice a slight burning smell.
This is normal and will disappear after a few uses.
• Place the appliance on a dry, level surface.
• When the attachment is correctly placed on the main unit, plug in and switch on at the
socket, the three function buttons will illuminate blue.
• If the attachment is not in place or correctly seated the three function buttons
will flash.
• Add your liquid or food to the attachment.
•
DO NOT use the attachments for hot liquids and excess foods, pressure may build up
inside this could cause the lid come off and the contents to splash out. Allow hot food
and liquids to cool to room temperature before blending.
•
DO NOT use the attachments without any food or liquid inside.
• Always ensure the blender is filled with a minimum of 250ml of liquid or food to the
250ml line. The maximum amount of food is to the 1500ml line and the maximum
amount of liquid is 1500ml.
• Always ensure the grinder is filled no more than half full.
• Place the lid firmly on the attachment.
• If you are using the blender attachment, insert measuring cup firmly into the
lid opening.
• When the attachment is correctly in place on the main unit, turn the ON/OFF knob,
this allows you use a variable speed from ‘MIN’ to ‘Max’. Otherwise you can press one
of the function buttons.
The function buttons will not work at the same time as the control knob which must be
turned to the ‘OFF’ position.
• Use the blender in short bursts, we recommend 10 seconds at a time and
DO NOT
operate continuously for more than 1 minute.
• Never reach into the glass blending jug with utensils when the blender is running.
• The removable 40ml measuring cup in the lid makes it easy for additional ingredients
to be added whilst you blend.
• At the end of preparation, rotate the control knob to the ‘OFF’ position, wait until the
blades come to a complete stop.
• Switch off and unplug at the socket.
