Quick Start Guide
Powering On/Off the VertiMetric Device
To power on the device, pess Power button until Green light on device begins to
flash. To power off the device, press the Power button until the green light is off.
Charging the VertiMetric Device
Once the device’s battery has been fully discharged, it is necessary to charge via the
provided charging cable before additional use. Do NOT attempt a Jump Sequence
while the device is connected to the charging cable.
Pairing the VertiMetric Device with a Tablet
A flashing Green Light indicates the device is powered on but not connected to
tablet. A steady Green Light indicates the device is powered on and connected to
tablet.
Set Device Type
Note: If Device Type is already set to VertiMetric, you may skip to the Pair Device
section of this guide.
• Open the LEval app, tap the dropdown in the upper-right and choose Device Type
from the menu.
• From the Device Type dialog box, choose VertiMetric, and tap Save Device Type.
Pair Device

Tap the dropdown and choose Connect from the menu. A dialog box will open
allowing you to scan for available devices. All paired devices will automatically be
displayed in the list.

If the device you are looking for is not available in the list, tap the “Scan for devices”
button at the bottom of the dialog (see “Scan for a Device” in Help Menu located
in the LEval app for more information).

Selecting a device that is not paired will cause a dialog box to appear asking you
to pair with the device. The device PIN for a VertiMetric is 1111.
•
Tapping the “Pair” button will pair the device.
• Once the device has successfully connected, the Action Bar will turn from red to
blue with the name of the device listed in the upper left corner.
