OPERATION
INITIAL CONSIDERATIONS
a) When you unpack the weighing machine for the first time, you should charge the internal
battery by connecting the weighing machine using the provided cable to the main power
supply for at least 10 hours. You may then unplug the weighing machine if you wish. The
battery will give you an autonomy of a number of days; depending upon its usage.
b) Following long periods at rest, in order to guarantee correct weighing, recharge the battery
again.
c) Always assemble the scale platform before turning on the weighing machine.
d) Never leave articles on top of the weighing machine for long periods of time, as they may
damage the weighing cells.
e) Avoid exposing the machine to high temperatures, excessive humidity, pressure and blows
to the machine.
f) Position the weighing machine on a flat, hard surface. Adjustable feet and a levelling viewer
may be used in order obtain precise horizontability.
g) If the light above the CHANGE text is red, it indicates that the battery is low. BEFORE
CONNECTING IT TO THE MAIN POWER SUPPLY, TURN OFF THE WEIGHING MACHINE.
Connect it to the main power supply and the light will change to orange, indicating that the
battery is charging. When the light becomes green, it will indicate that the battery is fully
charged.
h) When the weighing machine is not connected to the mains, you can check the condition of
the battery. Press the 0 key and keep it held down. It will show a number. If it is less than
5.5, it indicates that the battery is close to running out. If the number is between 6.1 and 6.5,
it indicates that the battery is full. Press the CE button again to return to the normal position.
i) When appears on the WEIGHT display and it lets off a continuous beeping noise, it
will indicate that the battery has run out. Connect it quickly to the main power supply. If you
don't, every 30 minutes a continuous beeping will sound, reminding you that you should
recharge the battery. If you ultimately don´t do it, the weighing machine will turn itself off
automatically.
