. Read these instructions carefully before operating the unit.
Please heed all safety warnings and keep these instructions for future reference. Follow all instructions.
Precautions:
Do not use this device near water, moisture or heat. Make sure that the ventilation openings are unobstructed at all times during operation. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the
manufacturer. Do not use the machine near flammable materials. Exposure to intense or prolonged vibration can damage the unit.
If you do not use it for a long time, turn it off and disconnect the power
supply. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, such as liquid has been spilled. Do not open the device.
Power On / Charging:
This unit runs via internal rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery. Please unpack the battery and set into battery compartment on backside of device. It can also be
recharged with the provided USB charging cable with your PC or USB net adaptor (not in accessory). The unit is charging any charging symbol on LCD Display is blinking. Once the
unit is fully charged, the charging LED indicator will automatically switch off. Once the unit has been charged, it can simply be unplugged and taken anywhere to be used. Total play
time when fully charged can go up to 2.5 hours, depending on the type of music played (bass level) and the loudness level. Before using the speaker the first time please completely
load the battery. This will enhance lifetime of your battery. When the unit is not being used for longer period we suggest to take out battery. The battery of the remote control is
protected with a small plastic strip, please remove before use.
Operation:
BS-20BT is working in four different modes: FM-Radio, USB/SD-Player, Bluetooth BT Player and AUX-In. To operate the device you can use the IR (infrared) remote
control (please hold in direction of IR sensor on player) or keys on front side of the device. Press “Mode” key to select the desired playing mode. The operation mode will be shown on
LCD display. If there is no USB stick or SD card in the sockets, this mode will not be selected when you press the mode key. Overall volume you can adjust with the rotary volume
control VOL (-) to VOL (+).
Equalization:
BS-20BT has 6 different tone settings to influence the sound. Use EQ key on player or remote control to set EQ from “
eq0
” to “
eq5
”
Volume control:
by pressing

(-)
keys on remote control you can set the volume in 16 steps from V00to V15 (display).
Note:
the rotary volume control on device is master
control and will be the master for all settings (remote control, your Bluetooth device, etc.). With “MUTE” key you can set loudness to zero.
Bluetooh BT:
press mode button several times until “
bt
” will be displayed. The LED is flashing and the device is ready for pairing. Take your BT-device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and
switch on BT. Scan for other BT devices and you will find
“BS-20BT”
. Press connect to pair both devices. If you have any problems with pairing please check the user manual of your
BT device for your reference. For operation use Start/Stop

and volume control on your BT-Device. Accordingly you can use the keys on front of BS-20BT
or keys on IR remote control.
USB/SD player:
insert a USB storage stick or SD card with MP3 music files to USB/SD slot. Press mode button several times until “
SD/USB
” will be displayed. For operation use Start/Stop, Next, Prev and volume
control on IR remote control or the keys on front of BS-20BT. To choose a track you can use the numeric keys 1-9 on remote control as well. If you want to use “Repeat” function you can press the repeat key and select
“All” to repeat all songs or “One” to just repeat the actual song.
FM-Radio:
press mode button several times until “
FM
” and the actual frequency are displayed. Press Start/Stop

key to start automatic FM
station scan. All radio stations which are found are internally stored from
P00
to
PXX
. To select a stored station use Next/Prev keys or numeric
keys.
AUX In:
you can connect any external audio signal with a 3.5mm stereo cable to AUX In jack on front of device. Press mode button several
times until “
AUX
” will be displayed. Operation (playing of tracks) will be controlled on external device. Volume and EQ settings can be done at
BS-20BT.
