Access Dashboard Using a Browser

Open your Internet browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.) and type your NAS' IP address or machine

name in the browser's URL (web address) field.
For example: http://[IP-address] or http://[machine name] (Windows) or http://[machine name].local
(Mac)

The first time you access the Dashboard, fill in the information in the Setup Wizard. In subsequent logins,

simply type in your username and password in the login prompt.
Click Log in.

Recovering a Lost Password

If a user has forgotten his/her password, it can be recovered if an SMTP server has been assigned (see

Dashboard - Network

) and an email address has been input for that user on the Users page.

In the login page, click Have you lost or forgotten your password?.

In the next page, type in the username. Then type the word you see in the image on the right (this ensures

that the request is coming from a person) and click send.
