E. Once you’ve fi nished, you can proceed to the Dashboard by clicking Finish .
NOTE: You can also change the language on the Setup Wizard page.
NOTE: The machine name can be modifi ed later from the Dashboard.
NOTE: If necessary, you can assign the drive a static IP address from the Network section
in the Dashboard.
F. Your 2big Network 2 is confi gured and ready to use.
Step 3: Access Share
A. Click the LaCie Network Assistant icon in the
system tray (Windows), menu bar (Mac), or
task bar (Linux).
B. Under the machine name LaCie-2big , click
on Public .
C. Public will open in your operating system’s fi le browser. Transfer fi les to the
volume normally.
NOTE: For information on USB connection, refer to the User Manual located on the
Utilities CD-ROM.
NOTE: The LaCie 2big Network 2 is confi gured in RAID0 mode. For instructions on
changing the RAID mode to RAID1 (mirroring) and for additional instructions, precautions
and confi guration details, please refer to the User Manual on the LaCie Utilities CD-ROM.
