Maintenance
Remove the screw cap and
undo the set screw,
remove the handle
and unscrew the handle
base ring.
Unscrew the locking
nut holding the cartridge
with a wrench and
take the cartridge out.
Place the new cartridge in,
tighten the locking nut and
reassemble the handle.
Water Temperature Setting Adjustment
The mixer comes from the factory with a red ring insert on the cartridge that serves as anti-scalding device.
It can be removed and water temperature set to a maximum per user’s preference.
RED RING
Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry out
the red ring then adjust the cartridge
stem to run your preferred max. water
temperature.
Remove the screw cap,
the set screw, the handle
and unscrew the handle
base ring.
Insert the red ring back onto the
cartridge so that prongs on the ring
block the rotation against the black
prongs on the cartridge.
Install all the parts back.
If the mixer leaks from the handle or drips from the outlet, please replace the cartridge as shown below.
