Operating the M

INIMAX

TM

The crusher panel can be lowered onto the top of the refuse stack to prevent it from popping up in
front of the packer, increasing the compaction effect. Note that when the crusher panel is down, the
automated arm is deactivated.

OTE

:

If your truck is equipped with a two-hand safety system and you want to operate the crusher
panel via the external controls, you will first need to press the deadman switch and hold it in
order to activate those controls (see

Body External Deadman Switch (optional)

on page 82).

Tailgate Interlock

If the tailgate is unlocked, the packer will not move, neither forward nor backward. It will not move
unless the tailgate is locked back. Ensure that the tailgate is properly locked or

fully

open.



If the tailgate is locked, the packer works normally.



When the tailgate is fully open, the auto-eject mode is enabled making possible for the packer to
reach the rear of the body.

Top Hopper Door Interlock

If the right-hand side top hopper door (see Figure 4-14) is not fully open and locked, the automated
arm will not be operational. This interlock prevents the arm from colliding with the top hopper door.

Troubleshooting Quick Reference

If an electrical failure occurs and prevents the operator from retracting the arm, the following
procedure can be applied:

1.

Set the parking brake and put the transmission to neutral.

2.

Install a control lever on the arm extend/retract section of the proportional valve (see Figure
4-15) located on the left-hand side of the vehicle under the Labrie yellow cover.
