8.4.2 Regeneration blower

See drawing R1883

1.

Remove fresh air valve (12) and the hose on the flange (67).

2.

Remove the cables in terminal block (68) on the regeneration blower (13).

3.

Remove the three screws (69) and lift out the blower.

4.

Remove flange (67) and clean any old packing material from its contact face.

5.

Fit flange (67) onto the new or renovated blower using packing material.

6.

Fit the regeneration blower onto the DFD dryer with the screws (69).

7.

Reconnect the cables in the terminal block on the blower as shown in the diagram.

8.

Check that the blower is running by activating contactor KM3 located in the Control
cabinet. Check that the impeller turns anticlockwise. See direction of rotation (70).

9.

Fit the fresh air valve and the hose on the flange.

8.4.3 Desiccant air blower

See drawing R1883

1.

Remove the PT 100 sensors.

2.

Remove the hoses from the flange.

3.

Remove the cables in terminal block (68) on the desiccant air blower (10).

4.

Unscrew the 3 screws (72) and lift out the blower.

5.

Remove flange/pipe and clean any old packing material from its contact face.

6.

Fit flange/pipe onto the new or renovated blower using packing material.

7.

Fit the blower onto the DFD dryer with the screws (72).

8.

Reconnect the cables in the terminal block as shown in the diagram.

9.

Check that the blower is running by activating contactor KM1 located in the Control
cabinet. Check that the impeller turns anticlockwise. Check direction of rotation (70).

10.

Fit the hoses on the flange.

11.

Fit the PT 100 sensors.

8.5 Replaceing the fresh air valve

See drawing R1883

1.

Remove the left side plate.

2.

Disconnect the control cables from the straight-through joint (73).

3.

Remove the hoses (63) by loosening the clips.

4.

Remove the fresh air valve (12) by loosening the clip (74).

5.

Fit the new fresh air valve (12) and tighten the clip.

6.

Replace the cables in the straight-through joint (73) as shown on the diagram.

7.

Fit the hoses (63) and tighten the clips.

8.

Replace the side plate.
