Solar Blue Module

4.1 Introduction

The information in this chapter will help you to install the Solar Blue module.

Figure 4.1

Solar Blue module

The Solar Blue module can communicate with the computer via a wireless

Bluetooth connection or via a USB cable. In chapter 2 you can find different
configurations and set ups. The Solar Blue module is powered by its power

supply.

The pump unit is integrated in the Solar Blue module. The pump can be used
to fill the bladder with saline during urodynamic investigations. A pump tube is
connected to a bag of saline and positioned in the pump. This pump tube is

connected to the filling lumen of the catheter.

To measure pressures, four Lemo-4 connectors can be found on the Solar
Blue module. Solid state catheters, air charged transducers and water

catheters with external pressure transducers can be connected to these
connectors. One EMG cable can be connected to the DIN-5 connector to

measure the pelvic floor activity.
