Measuring and assembly
Measuring
The total width is measured including side guards. The fabric is always less wide than the width of the awning indicated.
The drop is measured from the top of the rear side of the box to the front side of the extension pole. An assembled system always protrudes
a little further from the wall than the drop indicated. For optimal sun shading an awning must protrude sufficiently past the window to the
left and right.
Assembly
Pay attention to the quality of the surface for assembly.
In the case of poor walls, gas concrete, soft or hollow stone walls:
- adapted fastening accessories are required.
- additional wall brackets are to be used.
Take account of the fact that the awning must be mounted at a sufficient height (min. 2500mm).
The slope must be adjusted to an angle between 10° and 45°.
