Introduction
The Model 25/25D Benchtop Rocker is intended for general purpose
applications requiring constant rocking. The rocker can be used in
environments from 4º to 80ºC. This allows for cold room use as well
as incubated applications.
The rocking platform is covered with a nonslip rubber mat to provide
stability. Plates, dishes and other sample containers may be placed
on its surface. The degree of tilt the platform achieves while rocking
is fixed at ±12mm (4.5º). The number of tilts per minute can be var-
ied from 0 to 40 as required to suit particular applications.
The Model 25/25D Benchtop Rocker is constructed of heavy gauge
steel. This provides the rocker with a stable base for vibration free
operation. The maximum load the rocking platform can carry is 5kg
(11lbs).
The Model 25/25D Benchtop Rocker is available with either a single
or double platform. In the double platform version, the second plat-
form attaches to the first platform by means of metal rods. The clear-
ance between the two platforms is 89mm (3.5”).

Operating the Model 25/25D Benchtop Rocker
To begin operation of the rocker, turn the power switch, located on the
right side of the front panel, to the “on” position. Adjust the speed dial
to the desired setting. To stop operation, turn the power switch to the
off position. The nonslip rubber pad on the platform surface is de-
signed to keep objects in place, However, it may be useful to hold
down lighter objects with platform tie downs (sold separately). See
the Accessories Section of the manual for ordering information.
Note: To avoid splashing of samples, the rocker should be started
with the speed dial at the lowest position and gradually turned up to
the desired speed.
