When changing the grind, remember that
you DO NOT need to purge the grinder,
but the adjustment is immediately
effective.

Remove the grinder from its box and
place it on the counter.

Load coffee and lock the lid (slides back in
position).

Open the hopper.

Check that the hopper is closed.

Insert the hopper in its position and lock it by
turning it clockwise (it will ‘click’).
3.
Connect power chord and turn grinder on by
activating the main power switch (placed
under the base).
4.
Open the hopper lid (it will slide backwards).
5.
When brewing coffee remember that a
good starting point for a double espresso
is a volume of 28-34 cc (1 oz) extracted
in approximately 25-30 sec, unless
otherwise stated on your coffee bag.

With the help of an external scale, you
may need to adjust the coffee dose
inside your filter basket according to
specific coffee recipes.

To increase the coffee dose, turn the
bottom wheel counterclockwise.
7.
To decrease the coffee dose, turn the
bottom wheel clockwise.
8.
Repeat this procedure until you have
reached the desired coffee dose.
9.
Gently insert the portafilter.
Do not use 7gr baskets.

When the light on the button is green, press it
to grind coffee.
9.
Remove the portafilter and lock it to the
machine.
10.
If the extraction time is faster than
25-30 sec you are likely to have a too
coarse grind and need to adjust it to
make it finer. Adjust the grind by rotating
the top wheel counterclockwise.

If the extraction time is slower that
25-30 sec you are likely to have a too
fine grind and need to adjust it to make
it coarser. Adjust the grind by rotating
the top wheel clockwise.
3.
Repeat this procedure until you extract
the desired volume in the correct time.
4.
Lift the lock lever placed behind the
hopper to unlock the swing-arm.
1.
Swing the upper part of the Swift Mini
and rotate it 45° clockwise.
2.
Pull down the lock lever to lock the
swing-arm in the new position.
3.
If you wish to grind for single dose
baskets (7gr), press the button and
grind directly into the 7gr filter basket.
4.
If you wish to grind for filter coffee,
change the coffee grind (likely to have to
make it coarser), press the button and
grind directly into the desired container.
5.
Move the swing-arm as if you were to
grind for single dose / filter, from this
position you’ll be able to clean burrs,
grinding channel, impeller wheel.
1.
Close the hopper and remove it by
turning it counterclockwise and lifting it.
2.
Use the brush to clean the lower part of
the burrs.
3.
Pull down the impeller wheel to clean it.
6.
Insert back the grinding channel and its
lid by following the guides.
7.
Lock back the impeller wheel in position
by attaching it to the grinder with its own
magnet by following the hexagonal guide.
8.
Attach the hopper and move back the
swing-arm.
9.
Use the brush to clean the top burr.

Lift up the grinding channel and its
lid to clean it.

Swift Mini is compatible with all La Marzocco Home machines.
After the procedure if you bring back the adjustment wheel to the same number you will get the same grinding without needing to re-adjust the grind.
