FAHRENHEIT/CELSIUS
(F and 12hr, or C and 24hr):
Celsius
: All temperatures are in Celsius, and the time mode is 24-hour time.
Fahrenheit
: All temperatures are in Fahrenheit, and the time mode is 12-hour (AM/PM) time.
Press the
+1
button while the temperature is showing to change between Celsius or Fahrenheit.
CHANGE BETWEEN DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME / STANDARD TIME
Press the
+/-1hr
on the back of the thermometer to enable/disable DST mode.
Note:
When the display is in DST mode, the DST indicator is shown (see Fig.1, C).
CHANGE THE DISPLAY MODE
Switch Position A: Current Temperature
Switch Position B: Current Temp, High/Low Temp and Time Alternately displayed
Switch Position C: Current Temp, High/Low Temp and Time Alternately displayed
BACKLIGHT
The display will automatically turn on the backlight for night viewing.
The backlight turns off at dawn (or when the battery has been depleted
– indicated by the appearance of
the low battery symbol).
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
The display will show the current temperature, maximum temperature (with a ^ symbol), minimum
temperature (with a v symbol) or the time.
