INSTALLATION
Keep in mind that the Square deck is a fragile product. Keep the original packaging in case you
need to return the unit, as the limited warranty does not cover shipping damage. The 30-day
return policy only covers products that are returned in their original packaging.
The box should contain the following components:
/ The Square turntable
/ RCA / Ground pin connection cable
/ A power cable
/ A manual
/ A leather felt
Once the Square turntable is unpacked :
1. Place the turntable on a flat and smooth surface.

The cartridge at the end of your turntable arm translates the physical signal from the diamond
into an electronic signal to create a continuous vibration: sound. When an external vibration
interferes with the vibration caused by the shape of the groove, the sound generated by the
cartridge becomes distorted and can become unusable. In the majority of cases, these parasitic
vibrations come from the bass of the speakers and propagate along the furniture on which the
turntable is placed.
The cartridge also picks up vibrations from the speakers. This creates a ‘loop’ that amplifies the
sound: the cartridge picks up the signal it generates, its signal gets amplified, and so it picks up
an ever more parasitic signal... Thanks to the four custom-made dampers developed specifically to
support the weight of your turntable evenly, the Square turntable absorbs the parasitic vibrations
to allow your turntable to translate only the vibrations of the vinyl groove.
