Drilling Precautions—When drilling holes, check the area into which you are
drilling to be sure you do not damage vehicle components while drilling. All drilled
holes should be deburred and all sharp edges should be smoothed. All wire routings
going through drilled holes should be protected by a grommet or convolute/split loom
tubing.
Introduction
This user manual describes the characteristics and operations for the MobileVu 12.1"
display and accompanying Touch Screen software. The general characteristics of the
MobileVu display are: sunlight readable, night dimmable, optically clear, and
ruggedized. The display’s enclosure provides EMI and environmental protection of
the LCD and electronics.
The MobileVu display interfaces to the MV-1 system through a VGA cable and
keyboard installed in the vehicle’s driver compartment. Touch screen technology is
used to allow greater ease of use.
If you purchased the complete MV-1 system, you can find more information on the
system’s other components in the MV-1 manual (see your binder’s
Computer
tab).
