HOW TO USE
Before using for the first time, check if the voltage rating on the base
plate corresponds to the power outlet in your home.
Some parts of the iron have been slightly greased and as a result, the
iron might slightly emit smoke when connected for the first time. This
however, will cease after you have used the iron for some time.
Classify clothing material according to labels indicated on the dial before
use.
The iron heats up faster than it cools down so it is recommended to
begin ironing the clothes which require lower ironing temperature
(synthetic fibre, fabric and silk), than clothes of other materials
requiring higher temperature (wool, cotton, jute, and etc.).
Rest the iron vertically and set the Temperature Control Dial at “OFF”
setting.
Insert the plug into the socket, turn the Temperature Control Dial to the
temperature point required by the clothing material and aim the
material identity mark at the Heating Indicator. You may start ironing
when the Indicator Light turns off.
While ironing, spray water on clothes by pressing the Spray Button.
Use spray function as often as needed depending on the type and thickness of
the cloth you are ironing.
When using Water Spray function for the first time, you may have to pump
Spray Button several times until the iron releases water.
Try to iron an old piece of cloth first to check the heating level of the
iron.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
Set temperature by turning the Temperature Control Dial to the
following markings:
CLEAN AND CARE
Turn the Temperature Control Dial to “OFF” setting and then unplug
from the outlet. Allow the iron to cool down completely before putting
away.
When removing the cord from the outlet, grasp the plug rather than
pulling the cord. Empty the water tank after every use.
Avoid ironing over zippers or rivets on jeans for this may scratch the
soleplate.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or any metallic and sharp objects
(e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.
