7 Email and Instant Messaging
You can access multiple email accounts using
the Email client. In addition to Cox Wireless
email, customers can also access email
accounts like Hotmail, Gmail, etc. You can
also access multiple IM accounts, such as
MSN Messenger, GTalk, etc., using the IM
client.
Launch an Email Client
1. From Messaging , select Email .
2. If logging in for the first time, select Next .
3. Select an email client.
4. Log into the client. The email application
will launch.
5. Follow the prompts to send, receive and
manage email messages.
Send an Email Message
1. From your email client, select Send Email .
2. From the compose screen, enter an email
address.
3. Repeat the second step for CC and BCC, if
needed.
4. Enter a subject.
5. Enter a message.
6. When done, select
Send .
Reply to an Email Message
1. From your email client, select an email
inbox.
2. From the inbox, highlight a message.
3. Select
Respond > Reply .
4. Compose a message.
5. When done, select
Send .
Launch an Instant Messaging
Client
1. From Messaging , select IM .
2. Select an instant messaging client.
3. Log into the client. The instant messaging
application will launch.
4. Follow the prompts to send, receive and
manage instant messages.
