Introduction
These instructions explain how to install USB drivers that enable the device to be
used as a modem (tethered).
Windows Vista / Windows 7 Install
1.
Make sure the device is NOT connected to the PC.
2.
Go to the
http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/
Web site.
3.
Click the Support link.
4.
Click the Phone Drivers tab.
5.
Click the sy31_setup.msi file to launch the install wizard.
6.
Complete the install wizard to install the USB modem driver.
7.
Click the sy31_adb_setup_x86.msi file (for 32 bit operating systems) or
sy31_adb_setup_x64.msi file (for 64 bit operating systems) to launch the install
wizard.
8.
Complete the install wizard to install the ADB driver.
Windows XP Install
1.
Make sure the device is NOT connected to the PC.
2.
Go to the

Web site.
3.
Click the Support link.
4.
Click the Phone Drivers tab.
5.
Click the sy31_setup.msi file to launch the install wizard.
6.
Complete the install wizard to install the USB modem driver.
7.
Click the sy31_adb_setup_x86.msi file to launch the install wizard.
8.
Complete the install wizard to install the ADB driver.
9.
Click the sy31_ndis_setup_x86.msi file to launch the install wizard.
10.
Complete the install wizard to install the NDIS driver.
