48 Load a Song
Load a Song
Music files can be loaded onto your device via
the browser or a message. You can also use the
following steps to load music from your
computer via a Micro-USB cable.
Note: The music player will read music saved
in MP3 format (other file formats may not be
supported).
1. Connect the Micro-USB cable to the
Micro-USB jack on your device.
2. Connect the Micro-USB cable to the USB
port on your computer.
3. When you see the USB connection icon,
touch the icon and drag it down to open the
notifications list.
4. Touch the USB connection notification.
5. Touch
Mass storage .
Note: You do not have to install any additional
software when using the device in Mass
Storage mode.
6. Touch
OK to confirm.
7. On your computer, you will see your device
as a removable disk drive.
8. Open the removable disk drive.
9. Open the
Music folder on the memory
card.
10. Drag and drop music files to the Music
folder.
11. When you are done transferring files,
disconnect your device from your
computer.
Music Library Options
Enable Music Shuffle
1. At the music library, press the Menu key.
2. Touch Shuffle all to play music files in a
random order. To disable the shuffle, touch
Shuffle icon .
Enable Party Shuffle
1. At the music library, press the Menu key.
2. Touch Party shuffle to play music files
based on the initial file you choose. The
files will be played in a random order. To
disable the shuffle, touch
Party shuffle off .
Search for Music
1. When viewing a song, an album, or an
artist, touch and hold a name.
2. Touch Search to search for the song, album
or artist.
3. Select a searching option from the list.
4. Complete the appropriate task to share the
attachment.
Play All Songs
1. At the music library, touch Songs .
2. At the artist list, press the Menu key.
3. Touch Play all to play all the songs in your
library.
