PTT call types

You can make two types of PTT calls:

•

barge call

automatically connects to the other party. The receiving

party does not have the option to ignore the call. It can be

–a

private

call to a single PTT user, or

–a

group

call to more than one PTT user.

•

alert call

sends the user an alert tone before initiating the

conversation. The receiving party has the option to answer or ignore
the call. Alert calls are

private

calls only.
