Operation Guide
This coach is equipped with a SuperSlide II PowerSlide mechanism from
Kwikee products. PowerSlide utilizies a quad motor system to move the cargo
tray between the stowed drivers and passenger side of the coach.
The PowerSlide is made of an inner tray which rolls on a set of outer guide
rails. The tray is designed to move 60" out in both directions of travel. Power
to move the tray is provided by engaging urethane covered drive rolls with the
channel mounted on the side of the tray. The drive rolls are tensioned, to
allow for wear in the urethane and maintain good contact. To prevent
movement during coach travel, a center lock mechanism is employed to lock
the tray into its stowed position.
Introduction
Operating Safety Precautions
Prior to extending or retracting the cargo tray, take a moment to ensure
the following:
1. Open the luggage compartment doors to make sure that there are no
obstacles that could interfere with the tray's movements, either in or out to
either side.
2. Make sure that there are no obstacles on the outside of the coach that
would interfere with tray movement or be damaged due to tray movement.
3. Check to ensure that stored gear has not shifted and that no obstructions
exist between the inside of the compartment and the stowed gear.
