6.5 Updating the firmware
Connect the Kvaser USBcan Professional to your PC with the USB cable. Double-click on the
file ―update.exe‖. A small application opens where you should see the device listed if correctly
connected to your PC (see Figure 7). Select the device to program and click the
Next
button.

Click on the
Start Upgrade
button to start programming (see Figure 8). The programming
takes approximately 20 seconds. The progress is printed on the screen, and typically looks
like this:
