With the easy-to-use song recording features, you can record your own
keyboard performances as a user song. Each user song can be
recorded with 6 tracks (1 ACCOMP track, 5 MELODY tracks).
The accomp track records the accompaniment for a user song, while
the melody tracks record melodies for a user song.
An accomp track and a melody track can be recorded independently or
together, however, you can not record two melody tracks at the same
time. You can play back the accomp track and melody tracks together.
The saved data will not be lost after power off.
Start Recording
Before you start recording, you need to select a user song to which the
recording song will be saved.

enter user song selection mode. The LCD displays the current user
song name and number.
Use the data dial, [+/YES] or [-/NO] button select the user song you
want.
2.
Holding down [SHIFT] button and then press the [RECORD] button
again to enter recording standby mode. “REC” appears on LCD and
the beats start flashing. The instrument will automatically select an
empty track to record your performance.
The select track indicator will flash on the left of LCD.
3.
IIn recording standby mode, you can select your desired voice, style
and tempo.
Holding down [SHIFT] button, then press [ACCMOP] or [MELODY1]
- [MELODY 5] to select a track. The selected track will flash on LCD.
The accomp track and a melody track can be recorded together, but
it cannot record two melody tracks simultaneously.
4.
Press [START/STOP] button or play the keyboard to start recording.
When the accomp track is selected and A.B.C is on, recording will
start as soon as you play a chord in the left hand area.
Note:
Style can only be recorded in “ACCOMP” track.
Track indicators on LCD usually shows one of three states: blinking,
light up, light off. Press the track buttons repeatedly to shift between
different states.
Blinking:
It means the track is chosen for recording. If the track has
recorded data, the original data will be replaced.
Light on:
the track has data and will play back the data during recording.
Light off:
the track either has no data or is under recording and cannot
play back.
In recording standby mode, the keyboard will automatically select an
empty track next to the occupied track. For example, if “Melody 1” is
occupied, then “Melody 2” will be selected as the record track. When
all 6 tracks have been recorded and a specific track needs to be
revised, press the button of that track and start recording. The original
data will be replaced.
