12V (DC) - backup battery

Your scooter is additionally equipped with a 12V (DC) battery. This allows you
to use your scooter without a key (keyless). It supplies your Kumpan with
power for the key-recognition, and for opening the seat bench or the top
case, if no battery is inserted. After inserting a Kraftpaket 2.0, this serves as
power source for the scooter, and for recharging the backup battery.

Note: In order to fully charge the backup battery, the Kraftpaket 2.0 must
be plugged-in into any slot, located underneath the scooter‘s seat bench,
for at least 4 hours. Thus, the backup battery is recharged.

The backup battery must be charged after 2 weeks at the latest.

The backup battery is firmly installed in the control unit of your scooter and
cannot be removed. Any exchange is only possible through the Kumpan elec-
tric service.
