3. Adjustments in working position
Pitch angle adjustment
Refine pitch angle adjustment using the top link for the
tines to slightly brush the soil (D).
Work in oblique position
The oblique position can be used when tedding on field
edges.
From the working position:
- Slightly lift the machine off the ground using the tractor
lift linkage.
- Push lever (1) downwards to free lock (2) from its
housing.
- Swivel the wheel until it slips into the hole (a) (b):
Before adjusting, maintaining or repairing
the machine, turn off ignition key and wait
until all moving parts have come to a
complete stop.
The distance between tines and soil is a very
important factor with regards to the machine
work quality and tine service life.
(a): Forage ejection to the right.
(b): Forage ejection to the left.
