• Make sure all parts of the product are clean and rust less, and that
no loose parts exist.
• Check that no leakage occurs while the tool is resting or while the
product is tested without cables.
ATTENTION!
When using the stepped blocks, ensure there is a mini-
mum hold of 15mm (0.59”) and that the full width of the block is used.
1. Connect the tool to the pump by engaging the couplers on the
tool and hose. Firmly tighten the couplers to prevent restricted
oil flow.
2. There must be a minimum access gap of 6mm or greater for the
flange spreader to be inserted.
3. Advance and retract the cylinder piston several times to
remove air trapped in the tool, hose or pump. Return the piston
to the start position.
4. Insert the spreading wedge into the access gap as far as the
heel of the chosen wedge step. The heel should be touching
the outer surface of the joint and the spreader squarely facing
the workpiece.

and hex key.
- Insert the wedge into the joint until the heel of the step is in contact
with the outer surface of the joint.
- Ensure that the full step is used and that the jaw is positioned
centrally.
- Inserting the wedge incorrectly may result in tool breakage and ren-
der the warranty void.
