ELECTRIC WIRING

To avoid personal injury:
Shorting of electric cable or wiring may cause a
fire.

A

Check to see if electric cables and wiring are
swollen, hardened or cracked.

A

Keep dust and water away from all power
connections. Loose wiring and terminal parts
make bad connections, be sure to repair them
before starting the engine.

Damaged wiring reduces the capacity of electrical parts.
Change or repair damaged wiring immediately.

FUSE

The electrical system is protected from potential damage
by fuses.
A blown fuse indicates that there is an overload or a short
circuit somewhere in the electrical system.
If any of the fuses should blow, replace with a new one of
the same capacity.

A

Before replacing a blown fuse, determine why the fuse
blew and make any necessary repairs. Failure to
follow this procedure may result in serious damage to
the generator electrical system. Refer to the
troubleshooting section of this manual or your local
KUBOTA Dealer for specific information.
