Section 1: Assembly & Set-Up

AP-SGR1566, AP-SGR1572, & AP-SGR1578 Grapples 380-054MK

Attach selected quick connect coupler (#14 or #15) to 
pressure line (#11) and remaining coupler to return 
line (#10). Tighten couplers to hoses.

8.

Secure hydraulic hoses (#10 & #11) behind 
1/4"-20 GR5 bolt (#17) and Nylock nut (#16). Tighten 
Nylock nut to the correct torque.

9.

Reattach hose cover (#1) to main frame with existing 
5/16"-18 x 3/4" GR5 carriage bolts (#2), 
5/16"-18 x 1" GR5 carriage bolt (#3), and hex 
locknuts (#4). Tighten locknuts to the correct torque.

NOTE:  

Pressure line (#7) terminates at base end of 

hydraulic cylinders (#9). Return line (#6) terminates 
at rod end of hydraulic cylinders (#9).

Installation of Optional Hydraulic Hoses

Refer to Figure 1-1:

1.

Remove plugs (#8) from fittings (#6A & #7A). 

2.

Remove Nylock nut (#16) and bolt (#17).

3.

Attach hydraulic hose (#10) to 
fitting (#6A). Tighten hose to the fitting.

4.

Attach hydraulic hose (#11) to 
fitting (#7A). Tighten hose to the fitting.

5.

Attach 90

o

 elbows (#12) or straight adapters (#13)

to hydraulic hoses (#10 & #11) and tighten. 

6.

Consult your power machine Operator’s Manual to 
determine which hydraulic line on your machine is 
under pressure. Select customer supplied male or 
female quick connect coupler (#14 or #15) that will 
mate with your machine’s pressure line coupler. 

NOTE:  

Customer to select which fittings

 elbows #12 or straight adapters #13) that best 

fits equipment set-up to the power machine.
