Acre Meter Option

Refer to

Figure 2-1:

The Acremeter is programed to count rear roller shaft
rotations and display it as acres or hectares. This meter
should be used only when seeding full width.

ACRE METER BUNDLE

1.

Attach acre meter console (#1) to acre meter
mount (#2) with 8-32 X 1" round head screws (#3),
pressure washers (#4) and 8-32 hex nuts (#5).
Tighten to correct torque.

2.

Attach Counter Pickup (#6) to acre meter mount (#2)
and attach ground cable eyelet (A) to the back side of
acre meter mount (#2) with 8-32 X 1" round head
screws (#7), flat washers (#8 & 9), pressure
washers (#10) and 8-32 hex nuts (#11). Hand tighten.

3.

Attach acre meter mount (#2) to the Seeder box with
1/4-20 X 3/4" GR5 bolts (#12), pressure
washers (#13) and 1/4-20 hex nuts (#14). tighten to
correct torque.

4.

Slide snap-on actuator (#15) over sprocket hub
shaft (#16).

5.

Connect cable ends (B) & (C) together.

NOTE:

Unusual conditions and/or non-standard row

spacings can cause the Acremeter tally to vary
somewhat from actual number of acres or hectares
seeded.

6.

Use zip ties (#17) as needed to make sure wiring is
clear of chains, sprockets, and possible pinch points.

7.

Make necessary adjustments to Counter Pickup (#6)
so that it doesn't come in contact with snap-on
actuator (#15). Tight hardware to correct torque.

8.

For detailed instructions, refer to the included
Acremeter instruction sheet.
