Skid Steer & Tractor Hook-Up
DANGER
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
A Crushing Hazard exists when hooking-up equipment. Do
not allow anyone to stand between skid steer/tractor and
pallet fork while hooking-up. Do not operate hydraulic
controls while someone is near the skid steer/tractor or
attachment.
WARNING
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
To maintain stability with heavy loads, light weight tractors
and some skid steer loaders will require rear ballast.
Be sure to consult your skid steer/tractor Operator’s Manual
to determine whether or not to add ballast.

To avoid serious injury or death:

Check hitch fit-up frequently. An improper fit-up can cause
the attachment to come loose from the loader hitch plate
and fall.
•
Always shut power machine down following the “Shutdown
Procedure” provided in this manual before leaving the
operator’s seat. Refer to
1.
If needed, pull locking handles up on loader hitch
until locking pins are fully raised.
2.
Carefully drive up to the pallet fork making sure
loader hitch is parallel with the pallet fork hitch plate.
3.
Rotate top of loader hitch slightly forward.
4.
Place top of loader hitch under the top angled bars
on the pallet fork hitch plate.
5.
Slowly lift loader hitch up until hitch and top angle
bars on the pallet fork have come together.
6.
Rotate top of loader hitch back to align bottom slots in
the pallet fork hitch plate with locking pins on the
loader hitch.
7.
Push locking handles on loader hitch down until
locking pins fully extend through bottom slots in pallet
fork hitch plate. Make sure locking handles are
locked into position to keep pins from backing out.
