Switch off the engine.

Unscrew oil dipstick

, wipe it off with a cloth and screw it back in all the way.
Unscrew the oil dipstick and read off the engine oil level.
The engine oil level must be between the and the marking on the dipstick.
» If the engine oil level is not at the specified level:

Add engine oil. ( p. 161)

Replace the oil dipstick.

Drain engine oil, clean oil screens.
