- Slide the quick release plate onto the fixing bracket until it engages.

- Insert the quick release screw from the outside through the drill hole in
the engine guard and slide the quick release disc from the inside over the
quick release screw until it engages.
- Mount the fixing bracket on the frame using the clamps and the counter-
sunk screws.Do not over-tighten the screws, checking that the bracket can
still be moved.
- Mount the engine guard with the hanger between the engine and the frame
and bend it upwards towards the front.
- Position the fixing bracket so that the quick release plate is aligned with
the quick release screw.
- Remove the engine guard again and tighten the fixing bracket in the ali-
gned position.
- Fix the engine guard to the fixing bracket by turning the quick release screw
one-quarter of a turn.
