First insert the closed part of the lock ring and then the two ends to pre-
vent the surface of the damper cartridge under the groove from becoming
scratched and the O-ring from being damaged during installation or opera-
tion.

Pull out the piston rod until the seal ring retainer rests against the lock ring.

with a plastic hammer.

Fill the damper with nitrogen. (

Turn adjusting screw
all the way to the right.

Turn to the left by the number of clicks corresponding to the shock absorber

cause a serious deterioration in the handling characteristics and

After making adjustments, ride slowly at first to get the feel of the
new ride behavior.

Loosen screw
of the filling port by approx. 2 rotations.
–
Position the screw of the filling port at the top and slide the piston rod into the
damper cartridge until oil begins to emerge.
