Draining engine oil, cleaning oil screens

Warning

Danger of scalding

Engine oil and gear oil get very hot when the vehicle is driven.

–

Wear suitable protective clothing and gloves. If you scald yourself, hold the affected area under cold water immediately.

Environmental hazard

Problem materials cause environmental damage.

Dispose of oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaning substances, brake fluid, batteries, etc. according to regulations.

Drain the engine oil only when the engine is warm.

Park the vehicle on a horizontal surface.

Remove the engine guard. (
