6.20 Closing the filler cap

Warning
Fire hazard Fuel is highly flammable, toxic and a health hazard.
–
Check the filler cap is locked correctly after closing.
–
Change your clothing in case of fuel spills on them.
–
Rinse the affected area immediately with plenty of water in the event of con-
tact with the skin.

Fold down the filler cap

and push it down.
The filler cap locks audibly in place.
6.21 Fuel cocks

A fuel cock 1 is located on each side of the fuel tank.

The fuel cocks must always be open during operation.
The fuel cocks are only closed to remove the fuel tank.
Possible states
• Fuel cocks are closed

Level equalization cannot take place and the fuel supply to the
throttle valve body is shut off.
• Fuel cocks are open
–
Level equalization can take place and the fuel supply to the
throttle valve body is open.
