The maximum distance from the adapter to the hub are 100
meters. The following figure illustrates the pin assignments of a

4. Confirm Connection
When the notebook computer's power is ON, the adapter is
firmly seated in the slot, the media coupler is firmly latched in the
back-end receptacle of the adapter, the media coupler has a good
cable connection to an active (power on) hub, the Ln/Act LED
should be ON steadily.
