UX-200 User Guide

Your phone receives voice mail notification messages and Short
Message Service (SMS) messages.

Voice mail and SMS are network services. Please contact your service
provider for more information.

When the 

icon appears, you have received a new voice mail. 

Whenthe 

icon appears, you have received a new text message. 

If the message memory is full, an error message is displayed, the 
icon flashes and you cannot receive any new messages. Use the Delete
option in the Inbox (Menu 4.2) to delete obsolete messages. Once
there is space in the memory any undelivered SMS messages will be
received (provided sufficient space is available).

You can send text messages, pages, and e-mail transmissions.

Text messages: Transmits text(with or without umber).

Page messages: Transmits only numbers without text.

To send a message, enter an SMS phone number to Address1.

To send e-mail, enter recipient’s e-mail address.
